DELIVERY

Can I ask that my goods are left in a safe place if I am not in when the courier calls?

Yes. Our delivery service requires a signature for the goods upon receipt, but it is possible to notify the couriers to leave the packages in a safe place, such as your garage or neighbour, online once the goods are on the way to you. Tracking details will be sent to you and directions provided on how to leave this request once the packages have been dispatched.

Can I arrange my goods to be delivered at a specific time?

No. Unfortunately, our courier does not allow us to book time slots for deliveries. You can track your delivery online, however. A time slot may be quoted by our courier, but delivery within this period is not guaranteed by Home In.

The courier has damaged the packages you sent, what should I do?

In the unlikely case that part of your furniture has become damaged on its way out to you, please Contact Us and we will get replacement parts out to you asap. 

Please remember to first check all the other parts for any additional damage and to make sure that nothing is missing. Then let us know the part number(s) of any affected parts and we will have them replaced. You can find the part number listed in the front of the assembly guide provided.

How much is delivery to my address?

Delivery to most mainland UK addresses are free. Please enter your postcode in the checker box found below the "Buy Now" button on every page showing product details.

Can I have my order delivered over the weekend?

We do not currently offer the ability to book weekend deliveries. Apologies for that.

I live in the Channel Island, Isle of Man or Scottish Island, will you deliver to my address?

Yes. Any additional shipping fees will be added clearly during checkout. To check if any shipping fees will apply to your address, please enter your postcode in the postcode checker box found below the Buy Now button on every page showing details of the product.

Can I request delivery on a specific date?

No. Apologies, but we are not currently able to offer delivery on a specific date. Deliveries are expected between 2 and 3 working days from the date of purchase. Tracking information will be sent to you once available. These tracking details will allow you to check your expected date of delivery on-line via our couriers website.

Can I track the delivery of my order on-line?

Yes, you will be sent tracking details via the mobile number and / or email address you entered when your order was placed. This will allow you to track the progress of your delivery on-line via our courier's website.

ASSEMBLY

Can my corner desk be assembled with the longer desktop on either side?

Some of our corner desks allow for the longer length of the desktop to be assembled on either the right or left hand side. If this can be done, it will clearly say so in the listing with the words “Reversible” in the product title.

Is this furniture flat packed?

There is a wide range of furniture sold on Home In Online. Much of this delivered flat packed, requiring self-assembly, although some will arrive pre-assembled. In all cases, where the furniture requires self-assembly, this will be clearly mentioned on the product page describing the item. If you are in any doubt, please don't hesitate to contact us prior to placing an order.

How do I know how big my piece of furniture will be when assembled?

All our listings include images showing the dimensions of the furniture. These dimensions are shown in millimetres (mm). If you wish to convert these lengths to feet and inches, please us an on-line unit converter.

Do you provide an assembly service?

No. Apologies, we do not provide an assembly service of any kind. You will be required to assemble any flat packed furniture. Any item requiring self-assembly will state this clearly on the page describing the product. Products that require assembly are delivered with easy to follow assembly instructions, with parts numbered, fittings and tools.

Do you provide customised furniture?
No. All our furniture is sold exactly as described in the listings. We do not provide any custom made furniture.
Will Home In Online cover any labour costs associated with assembly of flat packed furniture?

Flat packed requires self assembly. Home In Online takes no responsibility for any labour costs incurred during the assembly of furniture purchased from us. Should there be an issue with any parts received, please contact us right away. Self assembly products are delivered with easy to follow assembly instructions, fittings and tools where applicable.

Can I download a copy of the assembly guide?

Yes. Please check the "Specifications" section of the product you are interested in. Where available, you can downlaod a PDF copy of the assembly guide for that product by clicking on the link "Assembly Guide".

The courier has damaged the packages, what should I do?

In the unlikely event that part of your furniture has become damaged on its way out to you, please just Contact Us and we will get replacement parts out to you asap. 

Please remember to first check all the parts for damage, making sure nothing is missing, then please let us know the part number(s) of any problem parts. There is a parts list at front of the assembly guide provided. Photo's of any damage are appreciated if at all possible.

ORDERING

Can I pay for my order over the phone?

While we are happy to answer any questions over the phone, we are an internet company and are not currently set up to take payments this way. Please make payment for your order using our secure online checkout. 

Will my furniture come with the plants, books, computers and other accessories shown in the photos?

No. These were only used when the photos were taken to set the scene and provide scale.

Can I make a VAT free purchase if I order from a tax free zone such as the Channel Islands?

We are not able to offer VAT deducted prices any orders. Apologies for that. We are, however, able to provide, on request, a full VAT invoice for your records if you require this to make any claim for tax reimbursements.

Will I get an invoice?

There are no paper invoices included in the delivered packaging. Invoices are emailed with confirmation of dispatch. Please Contact Us us to request a copy of your VAT invoice.

Do you sell parts separately?

No. Sorry, all our furniture is delivered pre-packed and is sold complete as shown in the listings. We do not sell separate parts for any of our products.

What payment options do you provide?

Orders can be paid using all major debit and credit cards, Amazon Pay or PayPal.

Please note, we do not take payments over the phone. All orders should be placed and paid for on-line.

CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS

Can I return my order?

Yes. You are free to return any unused goods to us within 30 days of purchase. A full refund will be issued as soon as the goods have been returned and checked. Should there be any return fee assocaited with the item in question, this fee is clearly displayed on the page advertising the item.

Please make sure the furniture is sealed in its original packaging and made ready for transportation. Once this is done, Contact Us requesting a return and we will make all the arrangements for you.
